Right now I feel a bit like Rubber Legs Al Norman.

We're set to close on our house tomorrow and move over the weekend and up until this afternoon, we seriously didn't know if it would actually happen or if we'd be homeless come September 1st (our landlord's already found new renters). On top of that, we've been packing up an apartment that's accumulated five years of stuff, I've had a ton of sketches due this week for the book assignment, and my laptop chose Monday as the day to stop working. As you can imagine, my fingernails and stomach have been in tatters. We finally cleared the last hurdle for the house with our mortgage company an hour ago, and  now I'm happily typing away on my new laptop. Right now, we're holding our breath that no new surprises will stop us from signing the contract and acquiring a new set of keys tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed.

If it all works out, I'll be back to normal blogging, sketching, and hopefully sharing some "befores" and "afters" of our house (have I mentioned that it will be a bit of a project?) soon.
