This week has been crazy. Too crazy for blogging. I've been working on a trial page to possibly illustrate a book and should find out next week from the publisher if I've been approved (fingers crossed) and after much deliberating, we're putting in an offer on a house this afternoon (fingers and toes crossed)! We've been too late or outbid on at least four different houses since we started our search forever ago, so I'll be completely shocked if this one actually works out.
So, please, keep your finger and toes and any other appendages crossed for us and I'll report back next week on both fronts. And if I don't, it means both fell through and I've resorted to drinking....

Good luck with the house! Are you buying in the city or suburbs?
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with the book... how cool would that be? Fingers crossed for you.
thanks for the good luck on both fronts, brooke! the house is in the city - actually in south philly near geno's and pat's. if it works out, i might get fat really quickly. and i'm really, really hoping all goes well with the book, too.
