This Friday, I'll start teaching my first illustration class at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Hopefully by the end of the semester, the 16 juniors under my supervision will have a much better understanding of figure drawing and how it can be incorporated into interesting illustration work. Even though I've taught before, I'm a little nervous about joining a new school, but I think I'm up for the challenge.

By a lucky coincidence, Tina of Swiss Miss blog fame, is teaching her first graphic design class at the Parsons School of Design in NY this semester and asked all of her readers for advice. Reading their feedback was exactly what I needed to get excited for this semester. If you're doing any adjunct teaching, especially in an art environment, I highly recommend you check it out.
