Did you ever read Where the Wild Things Are when you were younger? I'll be honest and say that I own a copy of Maurice Sendak's classic and still read it today. That's why I'm so fascinated by the live action movie version that Spike Jonze has been directing.
It's finally coming out in October and the images I've seen so far capture the mood of the book just as I imagined it. You can view more on USA Today's website here. Color me excited!

Did you see the trailer? I am so, so excited. I love Spike Jonze's directing (especially his music videos) and I think the tone is weird and perfect.
ReplyDeleteI saw it yesterday! It looks so perfect - now I'm even more excited. And yeah, Spike Jonze is probably the only director I can think of you could possibly pull this off.
