I had no idea that jet packs actually were used in life outside of tv/movie world. I was pretty sure they only worked on The Jetsons and Ironman. In the picture you posted it looks like the exhaust must get a little toasty.
Yeah, they've been pretty under the radar. I think that they still don't work that efficiently and no one really has a good use for them....and I'd definitely be worried about my legs getting singed:)
