I've been using index cards to prep for the History of Illustration class I'm teaching this semester. Instead of buying new ones, I've just been borrowing from a huge stack of old blank index cards that Jesse's held on to for years (like so many other things in his workspace). While making my way through the stack today, I discovered these words of wisdom, written in neither of our handwriting. He can't remember where the cards originally came from and neither of us have any idea of what this card alludes to or who wrote it, so I've just decided to make it my mantra for the day. "Rock and Rock" indeed. I hope you all rock and roll your day as well.
